Walking in the rain in the streets of a night city. Driving car back and forth without any substantial reason and aim. Doing everything one is inclined to do at the moment. Enjoying life (?). Trying to enjoy life… and trying to enjoy life within the limits of reality. Or looking for life retrospectively? The forgotten dusted piece of shiny glass… thrown away into the grass next to the road. It has been long since we were children, but we are not old men yet. And definitely we are not adults. We may look so when you meet us in the street. We look calm, even-tempered and with a clear sense of life and view of the world around us. We know what we can and what we cannot. What is fit and proper and what is not advisable. What should not be done and what we even should not think of. We are responsible.
And deep in our mind… sometimes at night, sometimes in broad light. At the moment when it is not early yet but neither it is late. A strange creature wakes up in us. This creature is strong and screams. Is louder and louder. It is ourselves, but the throat yells our mistakes and missed opportunities into our face. Lately the beast has been waking up more and more often and unexpectedly… and though it is rather a night demon, it has turned up by day as well.

I was standing on the hill above the city. The steam coming from my mouth was being condensed to dense yet light mist. Colorful eyes of houses awake were blinking below me. Silence. Night. Loneliness. Loneliness? Really… Anyway, at that moment a miracle came, and I bet that everyone who might have been passing by and stopped would have become aware of it by the shine in my eyes…
