“Kro Ni Ka” is a cheerless album, nevertheless, nor should it have been explicitly depressive. We would rather not implant in listeners any opinions and feelings, which they should have while listening to the album. We want everybody to activate his/her own imagination and emotions and to find in the album what he/she wants to find (or what he/she legitimately must find?). Let’s try to do it…

However, we cannot conceal that “kro ni ka” is a nostalgia, a melancholy about the night city, an echo of waste morning parking lots, blinking of traffic lights’ amber eyes deep into midnight, red back-up lights of buses in rain or clinking of trams in the middle of winter… It is a story about the city – the enigmatic organism, neither in good nor in bad. The city shines at night, breaths and it is never quite peaceful. A bizarre big beast. Ready to attack. Its nocturnal silence roars into the half-darkness. The city simply is. Different in the morning, the afternoon and its face changes in the evening too.

“kro ni ka” is also about travels, taken by everybody of us – either physical ones, tracing ways on the map, or psychic ones inside ourselves. And these travels might be the far most difficult ones…

But in any case it is an album about human loneliness – because each of us is bound to stay alone – even in a crowd.
